About the Role

The People Operations Admin is a core member of the People team, responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient, and employee-friendly operations across the full employee lifecycle. This role blends administrative excellence with a strong service mindset, supporting day-to-day people processes, maintaining accurate records, and helping build a positive workplace experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and passionate about supporting people.

Responsibilities

1. People Operations & HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records, People Ops systems, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Own administrative workflows across the employee lifecycle - onboarding, internal changes, performance cycles, and offboarding.
  • Prepare offer letters and other employee-related documents.
  • Support HRIS data integrity, reporting, and process optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and security/privacy requirements.

2. Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Coordinate and execute onboarding logistics, including scheduling, equipment requests, and systems access.
  • Prepare new-hire documentation and guide employees through onboarding tasks.
  • Partner with teams to ensure a welcoming and seamless new-hire experience.
  • Support engagement initiatives such as celebrations, surveys, team events, and recognition programs.

3. Recruitment Support

  • Assist the hiring team with posting roles, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communication.
  • Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain pipeline organization and coordinate with hiring managers on progress and needs.

4. People Operations Processes & Projects

  • Support People team programs such as performance reviews, compensation cycles, benefits updates, and policy refreshes.
  • Assist with data collection, audits, and reporting for compliance, leadership insights, and operational improvements.
  • Participate in internal process improvements aimed at efficiency, employee experience, and scaling People Ops operations.

5. General Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day support to employees regarding People Ops questions and processes.
  • Help coordinate company-wide communications, handbook updates, and documentation.
  • Support office operations or culture initiatives as needed, depending on company setup.
Requirements

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or administrative roles (startup/tech environment is a plus).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with common HR tools, Google Workspace, and workflow systems.

Preferred

  • Experience with HRIS platforms and ATS systems.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Project coordination experience.
  • A people-first mindset and a passion for employee experience.
