As a BDR at Reco, you'll be on the front lines of one of the fastest-growing categories in cybersecurity. You'll own inbound and outbound pipeline generation across enterprise and mid-market accounts, partnering closely with AEs to build and convert qualified opportunities. You'll operate as a modern seller — using AI, automation, and signal-based selling to cut through the noise, prioritize high-intent accounts, and start conversations that address real security challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Generate pipeline through a mix of inbound qualification and outbound prospecting across target accounts
  • Execute multi-channel outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn) with a focus on quality and relevance over volume
  • Use real-time signals — hiring trends, SaaS adoption, AI usage, and business events — to prioritize accounts and craft timely, personalized messaging
  • Partner with AEs on account strategy and target account penetration
  • Ensure speed and responsiveness on inbound leads with timely follow-up and thorough qualification
  • Leverage AI tools and platforms including Gong Engage, Clay, Unify, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to research accounts, surface insights, and execute at scale
  • Continuously test and iterate on messaging using data, AI insights, and performance feedback
  • Develop a strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, SSPM, and AI security to engage confidently with security-minded buyers
  • Collaborate with Marketing to capitalize on campaign intent signals, event follow-up, and content engagement
  • Consistently meet and exceed meeting and pipeline generation targets


Requirements
  • 1–2+ years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar outbound sales role, ideally in SaaS or cybersecurity
  • A strong communicator, written and verbal, you know how to earn attention and open doors in a competitive market
  • Signal-driven and data-curious: you use insights to prioritize, personalize, and move fast
  • Comfortable with modern sales tools and AI-powered workflows; you embrace tech as a force multiplier, not a crutch
  • Balances volume with precision; you know when to go deep on an account and when to move on
  • Genuinely curious about AI, SaaS, and security; you want to understand the problems your buyers face, not just pitch a product
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, build-as-you-go environment and see ambiguity as opportunity

Nice to have:

  • Experience selling into security, IT, or technical buyers
  • Familiarity with signal-based prospecting tools like Clay, Unify, or similar platforms
  • Interest in AI and automation and how they are reshaping the future of sales
  • Naturally connect the dots across business signals, tech stacks, and buyer pain to craft messaging that lands

You'll be measured on:

  • Meetings booked and qualified pipeline generated
  • Conversion rates across outreach channels and sequences
  • Speed to lead on inbound inquiries
  • Quality of opportunities passed to AEs, measured by progression through the sales cycle
  • Continuous improvement in messaging and outreach performance over time
